  • Dynasty 200dx help 01

    I have a Dynasty 200 that was running along happily about 140 amps dc and suddenly quit. Help 01 was displayed. Turning off the machine and restarting it doesn't help. From what I read this is going to be expensive but I was hoping there may be a glitch that is easily fixed. There were no funny smells, smoke or odd behavior. It just died. Unhooking everything, turning it on and setting the output to stick and the contactor to on throws it into help 1 as soon as the output turns on. I know it an older machine but I bought it when it was almost new with under 1 hr on the clock.
    The specifics are;
    S#LH140065L
    Hours 16h 18m
    Arc starts 11,500 or so
    Software 221 136
    Again, I don't see anything obviously scorched and there aren't any burnt electronic smells.
    Pics to follow....

                  There was a glimmer of joy but not enough. After doing a reset it would stay on without coding in stick mode. As soon as the preflow timer was done in tig it would code.
                  I'll be calling tomorrow.
