  • miller xmt 304cc/vv help 7

New to this forum but have read numerous threads. I picked up three miller xmt 304 cc/vv machines. All three had do not operate tags on them. I took the covers off and blew them out and made sure that all of the left side board screws were properly torqued. I then put power to them with two out of the three working fine in stick mode. One of them is throwing a help 7 code. My input voltage obviously isn't to high with the other two machines working fine so it must be deeper? I have ohmed out everything i know to do without finding anything bad. Everything seems to test the same as a good machine so i need some advice as to where to start.

Just want to add that i have looked over every inch of this machine and there is no indication of anything being burnt whatsoever. I removed the board that the caps bolt to also and the igbts and everything look like new.

Problem solved! The top board ( circuit card was the culprit). Called the miller techline and they walked me through it. Everything else tested good.
