Call Miller.... express your concern and have them check your serial number -
      920-735-4356 or 1-800-4-A-Miller (1-800-426-4553)
      .

BTW..... the serial number will tell the date of manufacture..... to make sure it is not dusty "old stock"...........

It does not happen often..... but sometimes a machine will lay in stock for a year or more

            the upshot is

A Dealer only has 1 year to keep a machine in their inventory before the warranty starts ticking off

              Norm.
Well its either online(cyberweld) , or local welding supply (airgas $+)
i am in the bay are california. Ive been researching and those two above mentioned are reputable as i understand, but there are a some $ in price difference as far as i now.
Now if i go for either of the distributors, how do i obtain the serial number before i buy the welder? Question would be would they give me the serial number before i even buy it? And then i will call miller?

if you go for either of the distributors....the machine will probably be drop-shipped directly from the factory.... can't get much fresher than that..... should be a non issue

FWIW... I have bought machines from IOC... Cyberweld and B&R... no problems....

Just wondering, can a Miller customer buy a welder from his distributor, arrange a Miller plant tour and afterwards pick his new welder up at the dock?
