    I bought a new Prostar ( Bernard ) 15ft. - 250 amp. mig gun & whip.
Tried today & it works great, no feeding problems at all.

I was trying different settings on the MM 215 as well.

    - On lower volt settings , the WFS. is fine using the auto settings.
    - On the higher volt settings , the WFS. is off ( Too Slow ) for my liking.

The power on the higher volt settings, is incredible for such a small welder. ( 38 lbs. ) total weight .
I have not tried stick or tig yet.

To say I'm pleased, would be an " Understatement "

More to come , as I try the other processes .

    Can the new MM 215 Ser. # MG491523N - handle a 15ft. whip ?

My Multimatic 215 owner's manual doesn't show anything about upgrading to a 15' whip.

    Multimatic 215 Owner's manual

However, the 211 does show the option as being available.

    Millermatic 211 Owner's Manual

You'd have to look for your machine's manual through the Miller website to see if there is any revision to the manual that lists a 15' whip as an option to be 100% sure.

I bought the one in the top picture.
It works great for my shop usage , as I've retired from mobile welding.

I don't need space for duel tanks as I don't have the tig setup, at least not right now.

Build it. It's not a piano, and it'll be fun. You can make it exactly how you want it. Plus you'll need a place for two welding gas cylinders. If you're MIG welding, you're going to need C25. For tig you will need 100% argon. Doesn't look like either of those carts has a place for two bottles.

started a topic Cart for Millermatic 211 or Multimatic 215

Cart for Millermatic 211 or Multimatic 215

First off looks to me like Millermatic 211 or Multimatic 215 have the same case dimensions.

Looks like Norther Tool has a nice cart called Klutch 2-Tier (picture from one of the reviews shown) after shipping it would cost around $100,

I like the idea of two tiers and the cabinet although I don't need a lock on the lower cabinet, I will add a miller plasma 375 cutter on the cart. But i am still looking fro recommendations and advise.

I would plan to mostly just wheel it around my shop but also maybe carry it in my pickup truck with cap for some possible odd jobs or emergency work.

P Lease advise, your thoughts and experience this cart or any others you may know of, course there is the Miller one too @ $180 ?
