• Miller hf251 trade for Dial arc 250 hf

I maybe trading a hf251 box for a dialarc250 hf do you guys think it would be a fair trade both machines work mine was built in late nineties and is in good shape? The dial arc I have not seen yet but was told it works well and was checked out .
I didn't do my homework first before I bought the hf box can't really run it with my old machines I just wanted to get into tig more and wanted a more versitile ac/dc shop rig with plenty of amps .
Any input you guys have I would appreciate

You won't have a use for the 251, so if the deal works for you, go for it brother. If I had someone that wanted to trade a dialarc HF for my 251d, I wouldn't think twice. Bam. Done.

            There was an overlap

The Dialarc HF-P was made till about 1994.... the Syncrowave 250 started to be phased in replacing it in 1987............

An HF-P....I've heard of guys using them at their home shops but neutering the power factor correction. I don't recall the whole story behind the why or how, but I bet H80N remembers.

There was a time when I was hunting one of these machines, or a machine of this size....and then I met Helga...

H80N gave her that name. The fan on it moves so much air I keep her running in the summer just to circulate air in the shop.
