Hypertherm torch on a Spectrum 625 extreme

Jim Colt from Hypertherm has mentioned on several occasions that the torch is designed with the power supply in mind, and vice-versa. But you do bring up and interesting question.

Hi All, looking at purchasing a spectrum 625 extreme, but I know the new hypertherm torch is unmatched at this point. Since hypertherm builds the spectrum torch and the have the same connector, will the new hypertherm torch work on the spectrum?
