M100 and M150 guns dumb question

I too was thinking weigh them. They used to have a code with diamonds on the cable. I would pick one and put a small liner in it...Bob

Maybe there is no difference other than the wire strain relief spring on the M150.....???

and possibly a heavier conductor in the conduit....??....that 1.2 lbs difference..?? or typo..??

they seem to share the same consumables and parts..................

Agree--I'm guessing just a heavier conductor for carrying 150 amps vs. 100. With all the same consumables, I can't see what other difference there could be, especially with them looking identical.

I only have an M100 (my other guns are Bernard and different very old Millers), so no way to compare them with another set of eyes; perhaps someone else has a way to tell. aametalmaster worked for Miller for a while and may have a hint or two, and H80N is the master of web searches. The Link below shows the spec sheet. It appears the sure way would be to accurately weigh them.

I've never had any problem running .024 wire through my gun.

I need a little help. I have a 211 and both an M100 and M150 gun. I want to make the M100 gun a dedicated .023/.024. The problem is that I recently moved and in the move things got mixed up and now I can't tell which gun is which. The dimensions look identical without taking any measurements. There are no markings that I can find on either one. How can I figure it out? They both currently have the. 035 liner.
