  • Miller Trailblazer 302 Solenoids stay on.

I have a Trailblazer 302 Ser.# MA470073M. Both solenoids stay on all the time. I have replaced the battery,Throttle solenoid ( burnt up ) also the power board. The unit runs if you disconnect the shut off solenoid.I also tried disconnecting the ignition switch no help Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Brian

Sounds like one that needs Cruizer.

Well if the fuel shut down solinoid is disconnected, that would shut down the fuel. if it doesn't then the shaft that the coil operates is obviously stuck

Turning off the switch shuts down power to the ignition coil, and applies power to the shut down solinoid

Check the Throttle Control Relay CR2 for stuck normally open-to-common contacts. CR2 supplies power directly from the battery (+) to the throttle (speed) and fuel (run/stop) "pull" coil windings with the ignition switch in START position.

These pull coils are high current momentary windings and continuous power to them will burn them up. Miller upgraded CR2 from a 30A rating to 70A. Based on the SN you listed, yours should be the 70A version.

Have you checked both solenoid adjustments and linkages per the unit manual instructions?

Thinking kohler, and takes away power to the solinoid via the oil pressure snensor

OK. I didn't think you were thinking Kubota diesel.
