Trailblazer 325 gas vs diesel

Looking to get a new welder and thinking about getting a trailblazer 325efi. Just torn between getting the gas vs the diesel. Leaning towards the diesel due to the new ethanol gas being hard on smaller engines. Looking for some input from a few trailblazer owners.
