Pull the "skin/covers off" and use compressed air to blow the dust and grim out of the interior of the machine. Make sure you blow off the control boards. Doing this will probably fix all your issues.

    252 gas flow solenoid problems

MM252 seems to be overheating causing a delay in opening the gas solenoid. removed cover and setup cooling fan but not much help. Went through this problem last summer when shop temps near 100 degrees. After continuous running, solenoid wont click for a few seconds when trigger is pressed. We have adjusted the preflow in attempt to compensate, but still not satisfactory. Any ideas?
