Thank you for the clarification and setting the record straight.
miller4less.com usually lists updated PNs when one has been superseded and when I didn't see it there or another resource I concluded Miller was no longer servicing it. Much like many electrical components originally outsourced to common suppliers where than can still be acquired.
And Dboyd83, that PN aametalmaster posted is for a 3-pack so you only need 1.

Be advised, miller4less has a "small order" charge of $20 for orders under $100 so if you need anything else . . .
That or go thru your local Miller dealer or distributor.

And to answer your question, yes, if the center brush loses contact with its slip ring the unit will not generate power or produce weld output.

Well the PN comes up as 049125 but it appears Miller no longer services that part according to an inquiry to miller4less.com.

Quite typical for non-Miller components that were outsourced.
BUT, not to worry as Eurton can fix you up if you give them the required information.

Miller legend aead 200le
I have a Miller legend serial number. Jk566001.
I was wondering if any body knew what part number the brushes for the welder are. Mine has three.
Also if one was not touching, would it cause the welder and the generator part to both stop working?
It worked fine till I **** it off for bout half hour.
Thanks any help greatly appreciated.Tags: None
