Rotor wiring questions

Having a Monday on Tuesday, was welding with the bobcat 225d and it stopped making power. Long story short, I took it down to the point I can see rotor and windings,2 wires are not attached to anything. 1 larger that goes to the part of rotor where the brushes ride and 1 small goes to rotor windings, it looks as though it goes on a connector on the same part. Anyone know what the larger attaches to and is that something I could repair. Thanks in advance,

not that I know any thing about miller welders, but a picture could be helpful for others,

Yeah, shoot us a picture please, often the large winding pops out of the slip ring and has to be silver soldered onto the side of the slip ring with low temp "Stay Brite"

That is what happened, and the way I repaired it, I really appreciate the responses.
