Looks like I MIGHT have an opportunity to put some into reworking that foot pedal for her so. I plan to replace the wires, plug it in and see if it works.

WOW.... must be the Gold Plated Edition...

You're Goofing Right..?? $1200 picked up is high

In the used market I regularly see fully equipped Dialarc HF-P machines in NICE shape for well under $1000....

$2K is well into Syncrowave territory.... and bumping Dynasty country..........

It's a long drive and $1200 is a starting point the welder has about 50 hours on it if you want to see it I can send pics it's a nice one I have owned 3 and this one looks like new,and by far the nicest.comes with all the owners mauals even has 2 boxes of tunsten with 3 missing out of the box I like the older welders cuz they work

my friend has a dynasty 200 lost pc 1 board I believe and can't find parts nice welder if you can keep them working I am no expert but considering the condition of this welder and knowing the history makes it worth a little more only going to get what some will pay that's for sure I figured the welder at$ 500 cooler at 300 torch ck 300amp torch with ck amptrac 2 and a converter box and argon gauge should cover the rest? Am I way off base?

Well, I actually passed on one that may not have been in as nice shape as yours, with a Bernard cooler and some other odds and ends...torch, etc...and the guy was asking $750. I probably would've bought it, but there was another guy looking at it that had a small fab business as his bread and butter and needed a machine, figured he could use it more than me.

I think your asking price is a bit steep, unless you'll deliver it to Beaumont Texas, included in the price of course.

But seriously, I don't think you'll have any trouble selling it, just be prepared to come down on the price or you might be storing it for another 30 years.

One of the reasons that the Admins had banned any type of selling was this type of wheeling & dealing....

They have just recently eased up on that with some conditions .....

It is one thing to be selling off your excess.... quite another to be buying and selling for profit

We seem to be close to that line

For a reality check on prices.... here is a search of "Dialarc" in nationwide classifieds from Search Tempest

Some are sky high.... most are not... Hundreds to peruse

Take a look at eBay and see what's SELLING, not just what's listed.
