On following your recommendation, I checked the set up for input power for the shopmaster and bingo!!, it was the wrong setup, I Corrected to 230v and now both units are working fine. Thank you

Then I'd guess that youve either dropped a phase, really low phase on the shopmaster, or its set for the incorrect input power. A to G should be around the 26 Volt mark, any less than 20, and you;ve got problems May also have a popped 24 Vac breaker, though thats not likely the case as the drive rolls on the feeder work.

Great, Cruizer As it turns out, I tested the feeder on another power source and the solenoid did work.....I checked my shopmaster 300 14 pin connector and I a not getting the 24v reading from A and G. Could it be the same thing a Relay in the shopmaster?

Nope, relay is on the board. now its a plastic rectangle thing, merely tap it with something to free the points

Thank you, I checked the wiring to the solenoid and it checks out....can the Relay be purchased separately, without buying the entire board?

I already check the wiring to the Solenoid and it checks out.....Is the relay on the board something, I can purchase separately without buying the entire board?

No, but that tells me that the relay on the board is not working, or the wiring to the Gas solinoid is defective

First of all thank you for your assistance.....Good point Cruizer forgot to mention that the purge switch does not work either. I have not replaced the purge switch yet..would that possibly affect the valve?

Obviously a board relay issue, if you replaced the gas solinoid. did the purge switch not work? Dont think you mentioned it... Unsure on the 8 pin connector?

S62 Wire Feeder , no gas
Hello Gentlemen, I placing my first post, can someone please direct me to the correct discussion trail. I have a wire feeder miller S60 series (s62), Serial Number KE711442, stock 131785 is attached to my shop master 300, I bought it used. I have an issue with NO GAS Flow, I did replace the Gas valve with Miller 222837 GAS VALVE KIT and still Have no Gas Flow, When I press the Gun, the machine does feed the wire, the issue is just the NO gas flow, Can can some one assist with this?. AT first I thought It could have been the female 8 pin connector so I attached a "different" wire feeder to the Power source (SHOP 300) it did work.Tags: None
