  • putting out a little more

I am still working on the AEA 200L but making some progress. I have the correct voltage now at the outlets in the work mode at rated speed but in order to weld I need to increase motor speed to 3400 rpm. Will cleaning or burnishing the slip rings possibly help and if so what grit paper should you use to do this? The front brushes on the exciter in the manual says that they are molded w/push on connector caps, what does that mean? Do you burnish the brushes also? Thanks for the help guys and yes I did get the manual downloaded.
