Hello everyone,
This is my first post, so be gentle.
I have a Pulstar 450 (ser: JF954102) with a D-52D feeder (ser: JF954102). It welds really nicely. My problem comes from the, control remote(RDC PS-2), mounted on top of the feeder. The remote is hooked up through the 10 pin plug, and powered by the 4 pin. All the nobs and switches work, and the display changes when dials are turned. When I flip the power supply from standard to remote, It won't weld. It does this noodling thing where the wire turns red and won't actually strike an arc. Am I missing something? Can someone point me in the direction I need to look? Anybody have any Ideas? I would like to be able to control the welder from the feeder because the feeder is on a cart with 40 foot leads. I really don't want to have to walk back to the power supply everytime i change something or use the other gun.
