  • Syncrowave 350LX - is this correct?

    Happy Sunday!

    I opened up the syncrowave LX today to air her out and saw this blue thingy that looked out of place. Seems like it should be attached to something?

    And what is it?

    Thanks for your question, mmthomas! The blue component is the LEM, which measures the (weld) current flowing through the aluminum lead. Usually they are secured to the lead (simply to keep it from moving) with a nylon "zip" tie. As long as the lead is routed through the LEM, there shouldn't be any concern. However, it wouldn't hurt to secure it with a nylon "zip" tie.

      Also, I have been looking around the insides and find a few items that are appear out of place and will post some pics for comments.
