Is there any reason I shouldn't use x mode all the time? for all welding?

why would I want to use Weld mode over X mode?

As to the first two questions, I cant thinks of anything.
As to the last question, I used "X mode" (before I retired) often to eliminate the constant blinking of the lens due to the stupid warning lights on various plant vehicles when they passed!

Yes those forklift drivers with the blinking lights , LOL

It looks to me like there are no disadvantages to X mode. I will just leave it on X mode, Awesome
