You're gonna really enjoy the TIG process. Just keep at it, no matter how many times you stick your tig wire to the electrode, just sharpen that sucker up and get back at it. You'll get the hang of it quicker than you think.

Figured I'd post an update, I passed on the first one I posted about, looked very well used ( production setting) and am now the proud owner of a 2008 SW 250DX with cooler, wp20 torch and amp track finger control. This one was bought new, used by a hobbiest and still looks new. Should serve me well for a long time. Already burned a few beads and I'm amazed with how quiet tig is!

I have the chance to buy a Synchrowave 250 with cooler( Miller cooler under machine, model unknown). I would like to know the year on it
