What is the difference besides 50 amps? I have a 300 DX. It still has good value. Is there ANY reason to step up to a 350? I don't need the extra 50 amps.
Thanks

Heck... as long as it is still operating properly... hang on to it..
the Dynasty 300 has some expensive/difficult service issues if it does croak...
there are several old threads on it if you do a search...

I searched and found some threads. It ain't going anywhere. I am not a big time welder. I use it for fabricating. I probably weld under 40 hours a year... so it will be around a while.
Thanks

Massive differences in the 2 units, same basic result though. However while the 350 is reliable and logical to repair. The 300 is not, and is basically a boat anchor

So, even though it welds great, just throw it away?
