Never had that problem with mine.... seems to run .023 wire (ER70) just fine on the low end... and it is a wonderful monster on the top end...

I was trying to push aluminum. It was a good machine, don't get me wrong, just too detailed thin work for it

For thin aluminum... I tend to go to TIG and the Dynasty 350..... I just LOVE that thing.....

Had some of the same trouble when I first got my machine. Would weld erratically and could never figure it out. Swapped the push pull for a spool gun and it welded fantastic. Gave the push pull away on ebay, never looked back.

My problem is it does it with both guns, my tweeco #4 and my push pull.

Well, I contacted my LWS where I bought the machine(s) and guns and had their people look at the gun with the grips removed and they agree it leaks very bad around where the hose assy. meets the gooseneck. So they gave me a brand new in the box tweeco spraymaster and said Merry Christmas! So I will let you know the out come when I return from vacation.

              Merry Christmas everyone!

You have a small leak in the gas flow system allowing atmosphere to be sucked into gas flow stream. Atmosphere includes oxygen and results in contamination of weld shield resulting in porosity. Use a spray bottle filled with soapy water to find leak while system is pressurized but not when welding. when welding, the small leak caused a Ventura effect, sucking atmo.
