  • Miller 350 mig voltage question

Hi I have been at a old used 350 mig no pulse. The problem is its 460/575-3ph. Can it be rewired to 220 single phase power ? Or do I need rotary converter and transformer thanks

Nope, your hooped here, lots of these industrial welders floating around for cheap, cause they are kinda useless after they get auctioned off from their shop

Looks like you can run single or three phase at 460 or 575 vac.... might be able to find a step up transformer to run 230 vac... It may end up being more expensive than it's worth though...

here is the manual that should match it

If it were mine.... FIRST... I would clean or replace gun liner & liner tub on the push-pull gun...

do full system reset to factory defaults

set the tension as per manual guidelines... CURL..

weld parameter for filler and material being welded...

                    it's all in the book...

so many times "operator tweaks" have maladjusted these machines... and starting at a known baseline is a good idea...

                    Which push-pull gun..XR??... 30A??

would still reset clean and adjust tension...

Make sure you are Running 100% Argon.. or Ar/He mix for Al....

instead of the C10 or C25 for steel
