Hello, I am looking for some input, I am looking at a dynasty 200sd with a cool mate 3 as well as all the leads, two torches and some accessories as well as a spectrum 2050 plasma cutter, both machines are 2006 models, show little use and very clean. The dynasty has 207 hours and 9400 arc strikes so it shows little use, by what I see it was used only a handful of times for rig and the rest for stick. I cn get both for $3000.00. So one is is that a good price? Also I would like to weld thin gauge stainless and aluminum and was told that the dx model would be better due to the pulsed option, how true is that?

But that looks like a very good price for the whole package... if it is as nice and complete as you describe...
BTW... the SD can be converted to a DX by changing the membrane panel... but it is not cheap... around $500 last time I looked....Last edited by H80N; 11-10-2015, 11:41 AM..

Sounds good and thanks for the reply, as far as replacing the board to make it the same as a dx would be great, although for $500.00 I might be better off looking for a dx. I rechecked the hours and arc strikes and I had it wrong, it reads 000 207 and then 000 947 for the strikes, by what I see that is only 2 hrs 7 minutes And 947 strikes, I got him down to $2700.00 so I probably will take my chances and just retrain my self on thin material with out the pulsed, good deal I think

Okay, here is the update, I purchased the whole package. The Dynasty hour meter was 000 207, and the arc meter was 000 947, it came with 30' of ground lead, 50' work lead, a ESAB HW17 air cooled torch, a ESAB HW17R accessories kit, a WeldCraft air cooled torch, maybe a Wp150??, a WeldCraft WP20 water cooled torch, a WeldCraft WP-20-12 accessory kit, a remote 5 pin finger control. All the tig torches and accessories have never been used. The coolmate 3 also never been used and is like new, the Spectrum 2050 plasma cutter is also like new condition with what appears to have all the original parts in the torch head. I ended up getting the hole package for $2850.00 out the door. I feel like a thief for it was such a good deal, I did test it all and everything worked as it should, I may be selling off the coolmate and water torch for I am not sure if I will need it for most of the work I get involved in. Glad to once agan own such equipment.

I would hang on to the HW20 and the coolmate for a while at least.... a water cooled torch is a real blessing for extended use at higher amperage... much more fun NOT getting your fingers cooked....Not to mention the HW20's smaller form factor fits more places in comfort... the 17 is a bit of a clunk..
.... Question on the "Finger Control" you said 5pin.... the Dynasty uses the standard Miller 14pin connector... though the FC does not use all of them... is it a Miller item like an RCC14 or RCCS14..?? did you get a pedal as well??.
