Thinking about getting that miller 211 with the Spool mate 150, but impulse bought a batch 18x 1lb rolls of 3/64 ER5356 wires instead. Now when I check the specs... the spool gun only handles .035 size and Not sure if the miller 211 machine it self will be able to have enough power to weld 3/64 inch diameter ER5356? Or is it ok to use it?

I certainly have no argument with the 252 but before you spend that much money on a welding machine to use up 18 lbs. of wire, what are you planning to weld? Is 3/64" ER5356 the appropriate wire for the job? If you can afford that machine and spool gun, I say , go for it. Just be aware that you may end up buying different wire depending on what you want to do anyway. ---Meltedmetal---Meltedmetal
