You have to have air to run a plasma cutter and I need a compressor. I`d like to get one that would be portable, 110 V only and single stage. There are numerous brands which ones would you reccomend. Thanks

That 357 doesn't require a whole lot of air. 4.5-5 CFM @ 60 psi. So a small $150 or less unit from Harbor Freight could do the job.
Here are a couple model links.
Harbor Freight buys their top quality tools from the same factories that supply our competitors. We cut out the middleman and pass the savings to you!

Lunar,
Lowes and Home depot sell several compressors in this category. Do you have one in your area? Just check the scfm ratings Andy listed against the display units. I have a 5HP Devilbiss that was only a couple hundred dollars that does a really nice job and pumps more than the 375 needs. You might find other uses for your new compressor.

Good with this little unit. It's a S&W 3 inch M60-10
It's been accurate with about everything I used in it.
It really does like the 125 grain gold-dot magnum rounds though. Or is It me that likes the gold-dots?
I let one of my friends take it with him shooting, and he went with his buddy Craig Spegel ( the guy that makes the grips) I was invited but I had other things to do. These guys are well versed in handguns. They shot 38's out of it and he wanted to trade me his nice older Smith 38 for mine. Some 357 shoot 38 real well and this is one of them.Attached Files
