    I'm borrowing one from a friend while I build this trailer, its always run on 240v. It cuts 1/8 steel like butter, but 3/16 and 1/4 require alot more skill. I run it at full power all the time.

    240 is almost always better, so much better power supply. You are always near max on 120 with these machines, half the load on the higher voltage circuit.

    I have ordered a new Miller 375 Plasma cutter. Is it an advantage to use it on 240 voltage? I can go either way.
