  • 30A Suprise

    I`m posting a pic of what happened while I was happily welding away on my steam cleaner! Everything was going along as usual when the sparks stopped. I put the gun down and checked the ground lead, looked down to pick the gun back up and saw what you will see in the attachment! The gun has been neither babied nor abused. This is the first ever issue I have had to date.
    The wire must have flexed enough to totally break in two over time. Took tke better part of an hour to repair, but all is well again.
    It might be a good idea for those of you with the 30a to take a look just for peace of mind.

      Anyone checked their 30a since my post?

      Can`t believe mine is the only one to do this. Just for the record I had a fair size aluminum job for it and it welded as well as it did when it was new.
