I plan on buying a Beverly Shear witch come in 3 sizes.B-1,B-2 and B-3 and cut 14 guage,10 guage and 3/16" acordingly.I want to buy the B-2 and would like to hear from anyone with experiance on these machines as to weather or not it will make radius cuts as well,or as sharp as the B-1.The blade length is only 1/8" longer on the B-2 and I like the extra cutting capacity. Most of my cutting will be under 1/16".

How big of a piece of metal can you cut with those shears, for example, if i need to cut a 24" piece of sheet in 1/2, can you only cut as big as the blade, or can you make a cut, move the piece forward, and continue your cut?Lincoln Precision TIG 375

I was able to dig up this information. The B1 has a 3/16"thick top blade and 1/4" thick bottom blade. The B2 has a 5/16" thick top blade and 5/16" thick bottom blade. This supposedly gives the B1 about 1" tighter radius than B2.Rufly 6" vs 7" depending on operator skill. To all who contribute to this board.
My sincere thanks , Pete.
