    mig welding method?

ive got a mm251 runnin c25 and .35 wire, i usually just weld 1/4 or up to half inch. what should i do, run the settings on the door and weld straight or tweak the settings to my needs and use a weave or swirl... what do you recommend.

i usually just straight weld or back and forth along the weld which i think isnt proper method so if anyone could respond , it would really help

    thanx

I would set the machine to YOUR liking then when you run your bead just wiggle it a little bit. If it's not out of position then you should spray it.
If you spray you'll need something like a 98/2 gas.

I weld with a weave like NNNN and go quick across the center and hang out on the sides a count of one-two and back quick across the center. I have the mm210 and run c25 and .030 so for the machine it should be just about the same for you.

Always make it feel good for your hand speed since the settings on the door are to get you close.

      Weld well,

          MM251 C25 .035 wire.
          MM210 C25 .030 wire
          Two different classes of machines.
          Whats the same about that?
          Just messing with you

          I also have a MM210 and use C25 with .030 wire.

I guess that gives new meaning to packin heat!!!

5 paces hmmmmm I don't have that much space, It will have to be at your place. Even better I don't have to clean up the mess!!

                Peace,
