    austy888,

    What is the reg doing??

You may want to get it fixed and get a flow meter. A lot of times the repair is simple and not costly at all.

MILLER will honor the warranty so I'd call if there was any question. Can't hurt to ask

    austy888,

    GOOD QUESTION.

I have never tried, but wonder if Miller would warranty the reg if it is not too old???

I prefer a flowmeter. They are simply easier to adjust. Gentec and Smith both make a good unit. Victor is good too if you buy high end model.

Miller includes a regulator rather than a flowmeter in the "Contractors Kit" because it is a portable kit. Flowmeters do not usually survive a crash of a tipped argon bottle or similar accident possible in the mobile world.

    austy 888,

I'd go with a flowmeter they're much more accurate than a regulator and I think they last longer too.

the regulator that came with my dynasty 200 is screwing up. is it worth it to get it rebuilt, or just buy a new flowmeter?
