Miller Blue Paint

Wow!

That's about what the color on my '90 Dialarc HF looks like - though the paint is very worn and oxidized.

My impression of the new blue is that it has a certain neon glow to it. Maybe it darkens with age, but I'm not so sure my welder is new blue. I'll have to take another look-see.

Anyone else got a pic of Old Blue?

If it is a '90 model, it should be the new blue. It was the standard blue starting in '88-'89. Everything after that is the same blue we have today. There may have been some throw backs, but I doubt it. I know that some guys were painting their new machines the old blue 'cuz they didn't like change.

Here is what the new blue on my '89 Bobcat looked like after a long spell exposed. BTW, it looks much better now! The new blue fades light. The old seemed to get darker, almost like it got a sunburn.
