Swivel head mig guns

Can someone lead me in the right direction on where to find one of those swivel mig guns? I think they are either benard or binzil.

I have a Bernard 300 amp on my MM251, I could not be happier, it is a high quality, very user friendly & the adjustable head works in those tight spots . It is a great upgrade.

Here is a better upgrade. I had four Benard with three of them the Q guns, but these feed much better. It really cleans the arc up. If you do get a Benard be sure to seat the head real well the first time or they have been known to get hot. I never had a problem but my friend the sells them warned me about them.
The 350 amp Binzel cable is way more flexable then the Benard 350 amp.

The guns in the picture is a 250 and a 180 with a extra 350 amp head.
They all fit on each other which makes it pretty cool. The body is the same.

Some of my Bernards are factory Q guns and some are custom made for my applications. Either way I would have to put numerous hours on anything to even begin to believe it was even in the same class as a Bernard.

I found the tweco site, www.tweco.com, they are built like a brick outhouse but too bulky for me. I prefer the bernard model also but I would rather have rigid mount m25 than a bulky tweco swivel. I am just giving options and opinions

I have both these guns too. The 250 is esabs clone of the M-25
The 400 amp version is not much bigger and has a better trigger setup. I think that gun is really nice too.

I would love to take the Binzel "Challenge". However, I do not see the need to plunk down additional money for a Binzel gun when I have more than I need already. If Binzel would send a demo, I would be more than happy to test their product with an open mind.

Thank you for the information on the liners and feed problems. Perhaps the reason I have not experienced feed problems with the .023" wire is because I have a custom built gun from Bernard built especially for the smaller .023" wire. It is rated at 150 amps and that is all it is made or used for. My 250 amp gun has the standard .035"/.045" liner and I run bare wire and flux core from .030"-.045" in it. I have never had a problem.

I can speak only for the Bernard Guns I have and I hate to hear you do not like yours. I wonder if I just got lucky and recieved some good guns? I don't know. Enjoy your Binzels and if I have the opportunity to test one, I will certainly give it an honest evealuation and let you know.

Scott V, Sorry to hear of your dissappointment with the Bernard units, I have had great service with mine, I cannot say that there is not a better system out, but the unit I have is more than I require at this time.. I do not need to run the thinner wire that you or Hawk need or use. I have received excellent service also on a couple of questions I needed to get direction on and even some free tips(at a Miller Days Show) that are still in the box a year later
I would be interested if you would like to get rid of that Bernard in the picture( e-mail directly) and see if we can work something out...
I will check out the Binzel units for future needs, You seem to feel they are superior & I am always open to new options

The main advantage the guns stays quite a bit cooler when using in the spray-arc mode. The M-25 is pretty light duty if you spray much. Like I said before, the 400 amp Tregaskis is a much better overall unit.

I am all out of Benards at this time. I had one Benard I missed and it was a 200 amp 12ft unit on my L-N9 gma feeder. That one was worth keeping, and performed really nice.

The nice option with the Binzel, is the mig machine welding tips available for them. They cost almost twice as much, but last four or five times longer then standard CU tips.
