    I agree with hank, but dont try to use it on its back lack of air flow may cause it to overheat.

    No problem storing it on it's back, but don't transport it that way. Like anything else with heavy stuff bolted to the bottom, it likes to ride upright if it's gonna get bounced around.

    Storage Miller welder

    Hi. Do you think its ok to store a Miller Thunderbolt DC stick welder on its back. Mine is a 230 volt 30 amp model with a crank handle on top. Its probably just like the newer ones with an older design. It is just a little too tall to store under my table on its feet but it will fit if i put it on its back. I just dont know how tough things are mounted inside becaue I figure the transformer is quite heavy. Thanks.
