Hey Wendell I was using the Johnson bandsaw down at the plant today and I got ta thinking how nice it would be to have another one of these monsters. So what do ya say I'll give ya three times what ya paid for that saw...

I have the same saw at my shop and we use the heck out of it. Ours has a coolant tray under the vise bed and a pump thats driven by the drive wheel via a ring gear. When I keep the machinists away I get about 6 mo out of the blade(they dont know how dulling it is to cut hard stuff to fast, blade speed) congadulations.
Wendell,
Congrats on the Johnson saw. Believe it or not I have the same saw at our block plant. It's a nice saw. Ours has had a rough life. It doesn't cut straight anymore it's not bad just not perfect. I need to give the old girl a tune up. Well I hope that you like your new toy and at that price I think that you will.

Thanks a bunch for the advise on band saws. I was minutes away from buying the turnpro when I was given a 10x14 Johnson w/ 4 new blades for free! The shop even had a chain fall so loading it up was a snap. Put a new blade on it cleaned it up a little bit and it cuts like a dream.
