A few months ago I got a little red mig from a friend that had an terrible tangling problem. I figured out that the block that the gun mounts in was secured by the two screws that hold the feeder assembly to the front panel. After several attempts to replace the screws I realized why they weren't put back in the first place. So I superglued the brass block in place to see if that would work, I did for about a 2lb spool of flux core. I think I'm going to retire the little thing to the corner till after my trip to the desert. I'll probly upgrade to a MILLER when I get back in about a year. But the may reason for this post is for all of those that own a little red machine if you ever have to take it apart if you can leave those two little screws on the front that hold the feeder to the front panel alone. If you have to they will be more than difficult to put back in. With the screw not in place the wire will ball right up in the feeder between that block and the guide of the feeder.

Mm135

The MM 135 will probly be my new machine when I get back. Now that I have a bad experience with a poorly engineered feeder in my opion I would like to see a feeder on the MM135. If someone could post a pic of it I would appreciate it. I have seen a MM251 and I know I prefer that setup, I just don't know if that is setup the same way or what. Just would like to know I will have a long time to wonder considering my next welding purchase. THANKS

mm135 no problems with feed

i have had my mm135 for 11 months i got it jan 2004
i have run about 20 lbs of flux bolth .030 and .035 and am now on my 3rd 11lbs role of .025 solid wire. after over 40 lbs of wire i have never had a birds nest. i had a feed problem 1 time and that turned out to be due to a bad role of wire, it was cross wound on the spool so i cant blame that on the mm135.

it is the first MIG i have ever used and it was amazing from day1 and i am verry happy with its performance. it has been a pleshure to owne and use. i would buy it again if it were to be stollen from me. thats about the best prais i can give it.it has out welded my expectations meny times over.
it is well werth the price.

right now it has the 8" spool 11lbs of .025 solid wire on it.

Thankyou very much. It is setup like the 251, feeder rollers straight into the gun liner. "Dude I'm getting a MILLER."

it realy is a great lil welder and i love the 8" spool option.it's nice to have a 11lbs spool to work with insted of having to stop to change a 2lbs'er all the time. i set mine up with a 155cft tank so i dont have to change anything verry often. hummmm might just be i'm lazy but it works great for me

I was down trying to swap my 80CF argon for a 150CF last week, that is until I tried to lift it up and put in in the trunk of my old bimmer convert. Guess I will stick with the 80's I have until I start to get younger

golf bag cart

it is a bit hevy i have them put it in for me and have a frend take it out. not too much truble as i dont need it filled that often due to its size.
i came acrost an old golf bag cart i been looking into putting into service for moving it around.
i made a real nice cart for my mig amd O/A rig and bottels but i only use them when i need to take it out of the shop. i gess there is an advantage to a small shop i can reach most of my shop from 1 central location.all due to a rather strange building configuration caused by continualy adding on to the ariginal 12'X12' shed
