I tried to find my silver solder thread and it is no longer in existance.
Where did it go?

Well, apparently you didn't get the clue that the word "solder" is foul language on a welding bulletin board. If they leave "solder" next thing you know folks will be using words like "epoxy", and "hot glue", or even, and I shudder to think it, "fiberglass" or "rivet". So you can see it is all in the best interest of weldors everywhere, in an effort to protect our delicate eyes, and ears, from foul words.

There are two basic ways to lose a post: (1) If YOU and ONLY you DELETE the first post that started YOUR thread, it will disappear. (2) Admin has the right to delete anybody's thread.

There is no reason for admin to sink you thread. Could you have accidentally deleted your first post in this thread? If not, I would go with a third option that site glitches exist and occassionally go gotcha!

ok guys this is a G- rated site, that kind of trash mouth talk is just going to have to stop !!!!!!!
i'm trying to teach my son about welding and now all he wants is his construction papper and a jar of library paste. just look what you have done with all your talk of glues.
hummm come to think of it seems i ate more library paste than i used on papper. lets just hope he is just eating it and you all havent done any lasting damage to him with this thread.
