    I have that page bookmarked too. I do wonder whether it is current best practises. I don't see stuff being done that way any more. We have better welding machines, and much beefier tubbing, it just isn't done that way as far as I can see. As general practice goes. I wasn't thinking so much about the "old frame" aspect.

    This is good stuff. Very few books talk about proper fit up of tubing.

    Some time ago I asked about rebuilding an old Dragster frame and my responses were quite varied. I am also a member of chopperWeb.net and someone posted this page on frame repair. I think this holds true on cars as well Motorcycles
