Thanks fellers. Even if something happens that this job doesn't pan out, I will definitely keep pursuing a job doing some sort of fabrication with aluminum, chrome-moly, or other exotic metals. I've been a logger for the past 8 years, and even though I love it I'm ready to move on to other challenges. I've mastered every machine in the woods and I'm at the top of the pay scale. I get bored easily and fabrication seems like something that you never stop learning. Plus, my first love is quad racing, and this job will be paying me to build performance parts (and hopefully do some engine work later on) for race quads. Teeps, Mike, Andy, I can say for a fact that all three of you have helped me directly or indirectly by posts you have made or questions you have asked. Thanks again. I knew absolutely nothing about GTAW until I found this site, so everything I know I have learned here.

I'll add my congrats in there too, nothing more satisfying than having your efforts noticed by someone else!

Good news for me. Thanks to all here.
I sent some picture of one of my projects to (hopefully) my future employer. He said they looked good and he was going to show them to his shop manager/welder, and he would be calling to talk to me. He also said he would be sending me some pipe scraps to weld up for samples. Looks like my hard work is paying off. I would like to thank everybody here for all their help. I don't post alot, but I read everybody's posts and learn from everything I read here. If I get this job it will fulfill a lifelong dream for me.Tags: None
