Ya'll are right. I need to think more positive. I need some friends around here that can help me learn. I had never even looked at a TIG torch in person until I bought mine.

contest, go for it

if you are lerning , i would jump right into the contest. make some local TIG frends and no dought get some pointers.so what if you dont take 1st. theres always the door prize i would look at the contest as a place to play and pick up some pointers, not as a contest. have some fun meet some people play with some tools what could be better

My local welding supply (Welsco) is putting on an expo at Alltel Arena December 9. Miller representatives are supposed to be there. I was just wondering if anybody here is going to be there. The Miller bike is going to be there. Going to have welding contests, free food and all kinds of fun stuff. I'm going but I don't think I'll be entering any contests.
