good for you. i was a bit shocked by how long it is when i pulled it out of the box. doesn't seem too long now, and actually looks great on the cart i made.

          Tigger,
Thanks for the pic of the welder. Let me take a minute and clean up my drool.
Getting closer to getting mine. This is what I bought so far for mine.
          - CK17 Torch with 25 feet flex type cable.
          - Cable Cover for the torch.
          - 25 feet of #2 ground cable.
          - 200 amp ground clamp
          - Lanthanated tungsten
          - Grinding wheel for tungsten

I keep getting outbidded for the foot control.

Keep us posted on likes/dislikes and projects for it....Thanks...

I'm in canada as well, and with the great exchange rate right now I was thinking of ordering a 200dx on-line ....maybe from cyberweld.com?

But what about warrenty....if something goes wrong will local dealers honur the warrenty even though I bought it from on-line?

They will accept the warrenty because it is from Miller
Cyberweld was great, It took 8 days to get across the country, Shipping was free.
I just got the rest of the kit today from KMS tools. They beat the US price for the contractor kit With hand control $600.00 CDN
I also picked up the optal helmet to day on sale.
I layed down my first welds to day and it was great.

Backyard tigger is corect. the welder is warenteed by Miller not the seller. any miller autherized repair place will take the warrenty reguardless of where you get it.
get it where ever you can and enjoy
                      thanks for the help
