    Is this the kind with disposable cylinders? If so, a friend of mine had a little Bernzomatic brand brand with the throwaway cylinders. You will drive yourself to the poorhouse buying oxygen for it, them little tanks were about $10 and they don't last long at all. It had a very small tip that may be well suited for very small applications, but, overall it's an expensive to operate toy.

    Should be plenty hot enough. It's only about 300° cooler than oxy-acetylene.

    Craftsman Oxy-mapp Gas Torch Outfit

    i recently bought a craftsman oxy-mapp gas torch and im wondering if it is good enough to do minor welding and brazing the book lists the top temp at 5300 degrees and if i remember right u only need 2800 to braze and 400o to weld. any insight will be highly appreciated
