Can you make any money welding up small works of "art"?

I can tell you that Roland Metal Art is a full-time business, and he does quite well at it. Besides the welding itself though, he spends a great amount of time on the road to market his sculptures. The buyers won't come to you, you have to get the product in many different outlets if you want to make any serious money at it. You do that by contacting multiple location businesses and spending time at shows geared towards merchants of this type of product.
