    MIG, TIG, it's all good

    KP,
You "just found out" you have a tig machine? What did you do, wake up and trip over it, inherit it? Jeez, I wish I could "just" find out I've got a tig machine. Maybe a Dynasty 300DX, with a Coolmate 4, remote foot control, and a CK torch with a superflex hose? Santa, are you listening?

tig is more for precise work and specitally metals where weld quality is more important then turn around time

tig DOES use filler rod (wire) but it is added manually by the weldor.....

mig is more for a production type basis..........

mig can be learned in a 1/4 of the time of tig..........

tig welding (i feel) is more of a ART form...........but thats just me !!
