Tungsten size & amp chart per metal thickness

Can some one tell me if there is a chart that tells what size tungsten and amperage setting should be used on a particular gage and kind of metal... and...are the amperages for a particular size thoriated tungsten safe to use on the same size ceriated and lanthanated tungstens.

Also,

on page 22 of my 180 SD's owners manual it says 2% 3/32 thoriated tungsten is good from 135-235 amps, would it be better for me to use 1/16 X 1 1/2% lanthanated or 1/16 ceriated tungsten to tig 1/8 steel on my 180SD.
