    MM210 & 30A

    Manny,
    Pretty sure it's a plug-and-play, just like on a MM251.

Alex it is plug and play on the mm251 but not so on the mm210. On the mm210 the plug and play model is spoolmate 3035. The 30a will run on this model but you will need an adapter to make it all work.

I have the mm210 with 3035 and it's ultra cool!

      Peace,

not sure what your running for a gas on your mm210, but you might need
something like Argon to play with aluminum???
Like the earlier posts mentioned the "plug and play" I think its also known
        as "Gun on Demand"

Yeah you need pure argon for AL.
Wow I didn't know you could use the 3035 with the MM210, even more of a bargain!!!!!
I knew the MM210 came with a lower amperage spool gun, like 15A if I remember right. Between the 30 amp gun that comes with the mm251, and the slightly higher current as being the only differences (as far as I can tell), the MM210 already seemed like a heck of a bargain. Now your telling me that a 30am gun will even work on the MM210. AWESOME!!!!!!

Sorry for the Silly question, but is there a real advantage to the 30amp spool-gun?????

Now if I could get an MM210 kit, with a 3035 w/ adapter, and dual cylinder gas cart, ..... Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!!!!

I'm sure that the numbers refer to feet not amps.
