Today I heard miller will be introducing two new welders that are supposedly bike builder oriented... I dont about it and am a little skeptical myself. But if any of you know about it please let me know. I also dont know how much more friendly a welder you can come up with either, I mean what would make it different for a bike builder? Here's the thread:
NICK PETERSON: As you are probably aware of, Miller Welding is one of the premier suppliers of quality welding equipment and has recently made their presence known in the custom bike building industry. Nick, who is one of the “big dogs” at Miller Welding, is going to give you a crash course on welding applications for bike building. The company has recently introduced two new welder machines that are extremely “bike builder” friendly and will make just about anyone look like an experienced polished welder. Nick will have a portable facility where you can test your welding skills and get a mountain of information on how to sharpen your welding skills. This segment of the Boot Camp will be one of the more challenging sessions, but it will address your concerns, misconceptions and questions in regards to the art of quality welding practices. A rare opportunity to rub shoulders with this extraordinary welding “heavy-weight”.
So what do you think? Just marketing hype for some class or what?
