non ebay price ?

anyone know anything about buying from a reputable seller on ebay, but not through ebay. i just asked for a non ebay price from a place. i'm waiting now to see what happens.

just got my answer = no. i kinda figured this would be the case. he may be thinking ebay is setting him up.

What did you expect? FWIW, develop a relationship with your local welding store, show them that you are serious, and they will treat you like royalty.

I have requested to end auctions early. Ebay has such a low service charge that its almost inconsequential. When ending an auction early you still have the security of the transaction taking place on ebay and you still have to leave fedback. Most sellers though will wait the auction out to attain thae bast price. After all why did you ask for the Item to be sold seperately?

IOC and presumably BR who have buy it now auctions with no bidds allowed other than the buy it now will sell off Ebay, but they have more units available than they have listed. If its a case where there's 1 item on auction its not fair to the seller or potential buyers to ask him to sell off eEbay. Someone did a poll a few months ago and had a list of 10 buyers who would take a MM210 and the best deal he got was a few bucks off the Ebay price.

i didnt try to reprice it. i just didnt want my master card # on the comp.

i asked about a 200dx water cooled. but it looks like i'm not getting anything now. i asked for a raise at work, looks like i'm not getting it. i have been pretty depressed over this. i'm worth what i asked for, but i guess the boss doesn't think so. or he's just a cheap ***.

sometimes there just isent $$$ in the budjet to increase someons pay on request,
give him a month and talk to him he may just need to put a little more efort into evaluating your work. best advice i can give you on the raise thing is
dont get an attitude go back to work and show him you are werth it.

sometimes when i was running multiple crew's i didnt always get a chance to have everyones ability level, and productivity in my head so when a forman aproched me about a raise for 1 of his crew i would tell him give me a little time to work the numbers. first i would check the crews overall productivity, then i would put a little time into seeing how much of that was directly related to that person. only then would i make my decition.
whenever put on the spot (raise or i'm out of hrer) the result was the same HAVE A NICE DAY!! and look for a replacement

your right James. thats what i am going to do, let it ride for a few weeks.

the money IS there, i just need to find a way to get it, if its even getable. somehow i think all i'm gettin is an inflation raise. the one i got this time last year has been eaten up by inflation. so, i make my boss even more money every year, but i don't really get any more of it. just not fair.
i may end up getting more overtime. so i take more home, but don't really make any more
