  • Used Welders

Ok, where do you look for used welders? I only saw 1 on ebay. Zero in the newspapers. Looking for a Millermatic 135 / 175
It's not the voltage that gets you, it's the amps.

Check your area for a welder repair facility. We have two in San Antonio that are not connected to a welding supply. They both always have some machines they've fixed up for sale. Or even a welding supplier may know of someone that has a machine to sell....even if they don't accept trade ins, they may know of some.

Edit: Patience is what is required in this case. You need to look constantly and everywhere. I went through the same thing looking for an engine for my Bobcat. It took quite a while. Nearly drove my wife nuts! But the patience and perseverance paid off.

      ISO50:
      Three possibilities,
1] Ebay- enter miller click enter then choose the equipment catagory
      2] www.brwelder.com
      3] www.cyberweld.com

These are my normal sources, but there are others.

      Peace,

i bought a used mig hh135 and have had nothing but problems with it ...even had it repaired under warrenty.....

so for a machine that you are going to use everyday or plan on having it forever........drop the cash and get it new.......

most welders hold there value so is it really worht saving a few hunderd buck for a machine that has no warrenty ?

          for me not really !

          dawg

there are 64 pages. not all new welders. but the problem buying used, even if you KNEW the machine was perfectly fine. shipping, will make a good deal average. and finding local can be tough. i'm in the chicago area = pretty big. and i am finding it hard to find much of any welder local.

Must mean that once you start welding, you can't stop
