I sent my Jacket Coupon in almost a month ago. Hope to see it soon. I submitted my receipt from my MM251 so maybe it will arrive SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
not bad turnaround time. i wasent expecting it for a wile yet.about 22 days is prity good.
got it just in time for the weather to change to light jacket temp, great timing
real nice jacket but miller should have put a bigger MILLER on it.still verry nice looks real profecinal
strangly enough the dyn is not on the list.
but i would think they would take it anyway they have all the mig's up to the 251, also the econo tig and the syncro 180 but i dont remember the dyn on it.strange it might be they dont expect a starter to get the dyn200. i would give it a try they probly dont look too hard at what welder it is just that you got a miller
Yeah I see they have a tig guide on the web site, but nothing on mig, so I ordered the Student set today as well. I also ordered the little calculators too. $1.33 what the heck.
The student pack comes with a set of the calculators. You can do what I did; give the extras away. I had an off line free raffle with the teenagers on Hobart and sent the set to the lucky winner.

Absolutely. The books will give you an overview of everything you could think of. The MIG book is thorough as well as the TIG book. The stick booklet was a bit thin, but it will help someone starting out. You'll be surprised how much you can get out of them. Shoot, they have even taught this old dog some tricks!
my set of books came yesterday. i sat down and read them all cover to cover. this was the best $25 investment i ever made. being new to the wonderful world of welding these should be a great asset.
So you would recommend these to most that are new or relatively inexperienced at welding?
