      timw,

I checked it out last night and cannot believe how lucky most of us are! See attached pictures for those that have not visited the site: Punta Gorda @ 4:18 PM August 22, 2004.

Still check out the site and see what such good people are doing to help the hurricane victims and how bad poeple are taking advantage of them...

        TimW,

        Where is Julington Creek?

I've been following the pictures and discussions of Charley on the FS site since the storm happened. I don't want to stay in my home the next time a category 4 storm is on the way.

Ken, I am just south of Jacksonville in St Johns Co. I'm in a zone 5 (least likely to flood) area but I live in a doublewide on 2 acres open rural. I have my business here in a 2000sq ft shop. I also have a 20' shipping container that I would use for a shelter. After seeing the people at Sanibel Island being kept away for 5 days I'm not leaving!
That effort by the guys is heart warming. It's normally just a fishing forum but they are making a differance for a lot of people. It's also great that they are giving people around the country a chance to help out with donations that are going imeadiately to victims.
